Meet Clare Rolquin, MSW, LCSW, LCAS

Adolescents | Young Adults

Hi, I'm Clare! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist (LCAS), and the founder of Lumen Center for Wellness

I work with adolescents and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional overwhelm, relationship challenges, and the many transitions that come with growing up and figuring out who you are.

My approach to therapy is primarily person-centered and relational

I believe the relationship we build matters, and I want therapy to be a place where you can show up exactly as you are—without judgment, pressure, or feeling like you need to have everything figured out.

We'll work together to understand what's going on beneath the surface while also finding practical ways to make life feel more manageable.

I integrate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) into my work, helping clients better understand and navigate difficult emotions, strengthen relationships, identify what matters to them, and build skills they can actually use outside of the therapy room. I'm also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and incorporate trauma-focused work when appropriate.

Most importantly, I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. Every person who walks through the door brings a different story, different strengths, and different needs. My role is to meet you where you are, build a genuine relationship, and help you move toward a life that feels more manageable, meaningful, and authentically yours.

Molly, my certified therapy dog, will also be there for every session, helping make therapy feel a little less like therapy.
