No Therapist-Client Relationship

Following, liking, commenting on, sharing content from, or interacting with Lumen Center for Wellness, PLLC on social media does not establish a therapist-client relationship.

A therapist-client relationship is established only after completion of the intake process, review of informed consent documents, and mutual agreement to begin services.

Confidentiality and Privacy

To protect client privacy and confidentiality, Lumen Center for Wellness, PLLC will not acknowledge current or former clients through social media interactions.

If you choose to engage with our social media accounts through comments, reactions, shares, follows, or direct messages, please understand that your participation may be visible to others and is not confidential.

Clients are encouraged to carefully consider their own privacy before interacting with practice social media accounts.

Direct Messages and Clinical Communication

Social media platforms are not secure methods of communication and should not be used for:

• Clinical discussions

• Scheduling changes

• Appointment cancellations

• Sharing personal or sensitive information

• Crisis communication

• Requests for therapeutic advice

Messages received through social media may not be monitored regularly and may not receive a response.

Current clients should utilize approved communication methods provided by Lumen Center for Wellness, PLLC for clinical matters.

Friend Requests and Personal Accounts

To maintain professional boundaries and protect client confidentiality, providers affiliated with Lumen Center for Wellness, PLLC do not accept friend requests, follow requests, or connection requests from current clients on personal social media accounts.

This policy is intended to preserve the integrity of the therapeutic relationship and ensure client privacy.

Reviews and Testimonials

Clients are welcome to leave reviews on public platforms if they choose; however, Lumen Center for Wellness, PLLC does not solicit testimonials from current therapy clients.

Individuals should carefully consider their privacy before posting reviews, as public reviews may reveal personal information and cannot be guaranteed as confidential.

To comply with ethical and privacy standards, Lumen Center for Wellness, PLLC generally will not respond to client reviews in a manner that confirms or acknowledges a therapeutic relationship.

Comments and User-Generated Content

Lumen Center for Wellness, PLLC reserves the right to remove comments or content that:
